Disc Golf Course Locator app for iPhone and iPad
Are you disc golf pro or just a person who looks for a disc golf course for casual recreation? When on travel would you be interested in quickly finding disc golf courses? Whether you are a casual player or looking to hone your game, MapMuse’s Disc Golf Locator app, which runs on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, may be of interest to you.
This app allows you to easily search an interactive map of Disc Golf courses. Either use your current location or input any location to see all of the nearby Disc Golf courses. Scroll the map and the places are automatically updated with no need to enter a new location.
In addition to finding disc golf course locations you can also submit comments and photos of any of the locations. If we’ve missed a location, or our information is incorrect, you can add new information directly from your iPhone, iPod, or iPad by touching “Add” at the bottom of the screen and then choosing the “Disc Golf Courses” option.
Your submission will be reviewed for accuracy and the location will be added within 48 hours of your contribution. And every time you start the app, you will receive any updates that have been made by others. You can also add locations by going to www.mapmuse.com. All addition and changes made on the website are reflected on the iPhone or iPod and vice-versa.

Great ap... still uncovering its strengths and weaknesses, but have checked areas Im familiar with and it is quite accurate--even to courses added within the past year. I like the review functions, although theres not a body of reviews to draw from yet (doesnt seem to be tied into other review sites). Still, I feel confident that when Im on travel, Ill be able to find all the available courses. Could benefit from a field letting us know if the course is private or public, and if fees are involved.
This is a very helpful app. However, after submitting pics over two weeks ago I have yet to see them posted. For $2.99 u would think someone would be keeping up with these things
I agree with the pic statement. I have posted a few but have not havent seen them yet. Love the app, but hope that it is managed better.
Love the ability to see all courses in the area at once. Used it on a recent trip where I didnt know the roads well, helped a lot. Could use a lot more data on courses, but will probably take more users and time. Possibly link to dgcoursereview? It already has reviews and course details.
